The White Caps didn’t score in the first eight innings of this but they finally got it going in the top of the ninth.  Christopher Carlson drove in a run on a fielders choice to tie it and then Ron Bourquin singled home Justin Henry to win it.

Once again, the White Caps got some excellent pitching.  Alfredo Figaro gave up the only run in five innings but even that was unearned and Wilton Garcia and Rudy Darrow each threw two shutout innings.  Darrow was particularly impressive because he didn’t allow a single base runner.
