The White Caps finally picked up their first win after three losses in a 2-1 pitchers duel with the Lug Nuts.  Jonah Nickerson gave up a run in four innings and Josh Rainwater threw three no hit innings to pick up the win.

Brennan Boesch had an RBI triple and he scored a run.  Audy Ciriaco was the only White Cap with two hits in the game.

i was just curious as to what the official scorekeeping rule is when jonah’s runner was put out on 3B and the batter that rainwater hbp scored…. why was the run charged to nickerson instead of rainwater when it was rainwater’s runner that scored?
