The Mud Hens opened up the second half of the season with a 5-3 win over Richmond and Virgil Vasquez improved to 8-3 on the season with another nice outing.  He gave up two runs on six hits with three strikeouts in seven innings of work.

Brent Clevlen led the offense with two homers and three RBIs in the win.  It’s nice to see the once-prospect showing he can still do his thing.  Timo Perez went two for four and he scored a run.
