Pat Stanley Has Solid Start in Erie Win Over Akron

Pat Stanley improved to 4-2 on the season with a really nice start in Erie’s 6-3 win over Akron.  He gave up one unearned run on six hits with five strikeouts in seven innings.  Brett Jensen struck out three in 1 1/3 shutout innings to pick up his ninth save of the season.

Casper Wells belted a two run home run in the first inning.  Ryan Strieby doubled, drew a walk, drove in two and scored a run.
