Lakeland lost their first game of the season as Burke Badenhop was outdueled by Yankees top prospect Ian Kennedy.  Badenhop did have a decent start though.  He gave up two runs (one earned) on six hits and no walks with three strikeouts in five innings.  Freddy Dolsi got it done in relief as he struck out two in his single frame.

Michael Hernandez provided most of the offense for Lakeland.  He went two for four with a solo homerun.  Dusty Ryan was the only other Flying Tiger with two hits while Ron Borquin drove in the other run in the 3-2 loss.  Cameron Maybin has yet to get his first hit of the season, but he did draw a walk and he scored a run.
