Mauricio Robles Strikes Out Eight In White Caps Win

Mauricio Robles and Matt Hoffman combined to hold South Bend to a mere four hits in a shutout win.  Robles threw the first five, struck out eight and he gave up just two hits and a walk.  Hoffman pitched the final four and he struck out three with a walk and two hits against him.

Brandon Douglas led the way with three singles and a run in the 5-0 win.  Billy Nowlin went two for three with a double, a run and an RBI while Luis Palacios went two for four with a double and an RBI.
