My brother and I followed the Flying Tigers during the last week of April. It looks, unfortunately, like a long summer for Commander Kevin Bradshaw as his roster is overpopulated with players who have been forced to the "High A" level before they are ready. This is largely due to the number of injuries from the Major League level down, mostly, but not limited to, the pitching corps.

This game was a microcosm of the season. Great starting pitching, but the bullpen failed. Other nights the starter got into trouble early and the 'pen did well, but it was too late for the offense to catch up. The one constant was the team is not very proficient with their gloves, as virtually every member of the infield committed one or more errors during the week.

Here's hoping that many guys get healthy so that the team does not totally lose it's morale.
