Erie made up their rained out game with a twin bill as they split their two games with Reading.  Game one was a 6-4 win with Dallas Trahern improving to a perfect 5-0 on the season.  He gave up three runs on five hits and four walks with five strikeouts in five innings.  Trahern doesn’t have a ton of strikeouts (17 in 30 1/3 innings) but he’s kept the ball down like he has in the past and has a nice 3.23 groundball to flyball ratio and he’s given up just one homerun.  Jeffrey Larish provided most of the offense with a homerun and four RBIs.

Game two didn’t go quite as well.  Andrew Kown gave up six runs in three innings and the only run for Erie came on another homerun by Jeff Larish in the 8-1 loss.
