The Seawolves came close but they dropped both of their games in a doubleheader with Pittsburgh.  In the first game, Dallas Trahern had his worst start of the season and he gave up four runs in 6 1/3 innings.  Matthew Joyce and Jeff Larish each had two hits including a homerun and each drove in two runs.

Game two was a pitcher’s duel with a solid start by Andrew Kown being wasted.  He gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits with six strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.  The offense managed just two hits and Michael Holliman drew a walk and he scored the only run of the game.
