It’s never good when you have more errors (3) then you do hits and that was the case in Erie’s 4-3 loss to Akron.  What’s probably more amazing was that the game was as close as it was because Erie loss just 4-3.

Pedro Cotto provided most of the offense with a pinch hit, two run double in the eighth inning that actually gave Erie the lead.  Jair Jurrjens had a nice start and he gave up just one run on four hits and five walks with five strikeouts in seven innings.  Kevin Adroin took the loss when he gave up the deciding run in the ninth inning.
