Erie Drops to 0-5 After Loss In Home Opener

by @ 3:40 am. Filed under Andrew Oliver, Brendan Wise, Deik Scram, Erie SeaWolves - April 2010, Santo De Leon

Over the weekend it was Trenton and now it’s the B-Mets.  The SeaWolves dropped their fifth straight to open the season although at least this time they scored some runs.  Deik Scram belted a three run blast to provide most of the offense while Santo De Leon hit a solo home run.

Andrew Oliver took the loss in a rough start.  He gave up six runs (five earned) on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.  Brendan Wise had a solid outing and he pitched 2 1/3 innings of shutout relief.
