Chris Lambert Pitches Hens to Win Over Buffalo

Chris Lambert had one of his best starts of the season and he improved to 6-7 in the Hens 6-1 win over Buffalo.  He gave up just one run on seven hits and a walk with nine strikeouts in 8 2/3 innings.  The one run didn’t come until the ninth inning when it looked like Lambert might be running out of gas.

Don Kelly had a nice game and he went three for four with a double, a home run, two RBIs and two runs.  Mike Hessman belted a solo shot and he fnished with two RBIs.
