Trevor Feeney fell to 7-8 on the season with a rough start in the Whitecaps 7-3 loss to the Dragons. He gave up five runs on eleven hits and one walk with four strikeouts in five innings.
Michael Rockett had the nice day at the plate. He went two for four with a home run, two runs and two RBIs. Wade Gaynor doubled and drew a walk.
The Whitecaps lost to the Loons 5-2 and most of the damage came against starter Trevor Feeney. He gave up five runs on twelve hits and one walk with six strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. Luis Sanz pitched 2 1/3 innings of shutout relief but the bats couldn’t get going to mount the comeback.
Hernan Perez went two for five with an RBI. Wade Gaynor went two for four with a double and a walk.
Trevor Feeney improved to 1-0 with a solid start in the White Caps 3-2 win over Fort Wayne. Feeney gave up a pair of runs on five hits with seven strikeouts in seven innings. Melvin Mercedes pitched a shutout ninth and he picked up his second save of the season.
Jordan Lennerton went two for three with a run and an RBI. Luis Salas went two for four with an RBI.
The Whitecaps let this one get away from them in a ten inning loss to Lake County. Trevor Feeney threw six shutout innings in his start but unfortunately, the pen gave some ground. Kenny Faulk gave up two runs in the ninth and that sent the game into extra frames and then Luis Angel Sanz gave up the run in the tenth and he took the loss.

Devin Thomas went two for four with a triple, a run and an RBI. Jeramy Laster went two for four.
Devin Thomas had a big day at the plate as the Flying Tigers took care of Clearwater 10-7. He went two for three with a walk, a home run, four RBIs and two runs. Christoper White went two for five with a double, a home run and two RBIs.
Mark Sorensen had a rough start and as he continued his struggles since getting promoted. He gave up five runs in 4 1/3 innings. Trevor Feeney picked up the win and he improved to 2-4. He gave up a run on four hits with three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.
A few Lakeland pitchers had a tough time at the plate as Lakeland lost to Tampa 11-6. Andrew Hess took the loss and he fell to 6-9. He gave up five runs (just two earned) on eight hits and a walk in 2 2/3 innings. Chad Linder and Trevor Feeney each gave up three runs a piece in the loss.
Christopher White went one for three with a home run, three RBIs and two runs. Audy Ciriaco went three for four with an RBI.
Lakeland and St. Lucie combined for 23 runs and 38 hits but it was the Mets who got the upper hand in the 12-11 game. Justin Henry had a huge day at the plate and he went five for six with four RBIs and two runs. Christopher White went two for three with a double, two walks, three RBIs and a run.
Mark Sorensen gave up six runs in 3 1/3 innings in a rough start. Trevor Feeney gave up a run in 2 1/3 innings of relief but it was the final run so he fell to 0-4.
Chad Linder didn’t take the loss in Lakeland’s 10-6 loss to Clearwater, but definitely had the worst outing of the bunch. He gave up six runs on seven hits with one strikeout in one inning. Trevor Feeney took the loss and he fell to 0-3. He gave up two runs on four hits with three strikeouts in two innings.
Justin Henry went two for five with two RBIs. Devin Thomas went two for five with a solo home run.
The Flying Tigers blew a three run lead but then came back in the top of the ninth to top Palm Beach 6-5. Michael Bertram had the big hit with a two run single to win it in the ninth. Justin Henry had a nice day at the plate in the win and he went three for five with a run and an RBI.
Trevor Feeney was solid in no-decision start. He gave up an unearned run on three hits and a walk with four strikeouts in five innings. Scott Green didn’t allow a run in the final 1 2/3 innings and he improved to 3-0.
Trevor Feeney improved to 3-6 on the season with a spectacular start in the Tigers 2-0 win over Vermont. He gave up three hits and he struck out nine in seven shutout innings. Daniel DeLucia gave up two walks and didn’t give up a hit in two shutout innings to earn his first save of the season.
The Tigers managed five hits but it was good enough for the win. Wade Lamont singled and drove in a run while Billy Nowlin drew a walk and drove in one.
Jared Gayhart gave up three runs in the seventh inning and a one run lead turned into a two run loss in the blink of an eye. It’s too bad because a solid start by Trevor Feeney went to waste. He gave up two unearned runs on two hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings.
Brent Wyatt went two for four with a run. Wade Lamont doubled and scored a run in the 5-3 loss.
Mark Brackman gave up five runs in three innings but the offense bailed him out so he didn’t take a loss. Trevor Feeney performed much better and he picked up the win. He gave up just one unearned run on one hit with four strikeouts in three innings.
Joaquin Guzman doubled twice and scored a pair in the 8-7 win. Keith Stein went two for five with a double, two RBIs and a run.
