Trevor Feeney improved to 3-6 on the season with a spectacular start in the Tigers 2-0 win over Vermont. He gave up three hits and he struck out nine in seven shutout innings. Daniel DeLucia gave up two walks and didn’t give up a hit in two shutout innings to earn his first save of the season.
The Tigers managed five hits but it was good enough for the win. Wade Lamont singled and drove in a run while Billy Nowlin drew a walk and drove in one.
Jared Gayhart gave up three runs in the seventh inning and a one run lead turned into a two run loss in the blink of an eye. It’s too bad because a solid start by Trevor Feeney went to waste. He gave up two unearned runs on two hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings.
Brent Wyatt went two for four with a run. Wade Lamont doubled and scored a run in the 5-3 loss.
Mark Brackman gave up five runs in three innings but the offense bailed him out so he didn’t take a loss. Trevor Feeney performed much better and he picked up the win. He gave up just one unearned run on one hit with four strikeouts in three innings.
Joaquin Guzman doubled twice and scored a pair in the 8-7 win. Keith Stein went two for five with a double, two RBIs and a run.
