Alfredo Figaro continued his struggles yesterday and he fell to 6-5 in the Hens 6-4 loss to Indianapolis. He gave up six runs on eight hits and two walks with six strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings. The pen combined to throw 3 2/3 shutout innings but the damage was too much to allow the Hens to mount a comeback. Figaro has been very hittable (.303 batting average against) and he’s actually had more problems against right handed hitters then what you’d figure from a right handed pitcher. Ryan Perry made his first appearance since getting sent down. He pitched a shutout inning in which he walked two and struck out one.
Jeff Larish hit his twelfth home run of the season. Jeff Frazier went two for four with a double (his 26th of the season), a run and an RBI.
