The Hens had a tough time at the plate and while they picked up three doubles in the game, they were held without a run. Will Rhymes led the way with three singles and he also walked in four plate appearances. Jeff Larish doubled and drew a walk.
Alfredo Figaro took the loss and he fell to 3-1. He gave up four runs on eight hits and a walk with four strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. Scot Drucker had a nice outing with 2 1/3 innings of shutout relief.
The Hens put it all together last night as they decimated Indianpolis 10-1. There were plenty of hitting stars as five players had two hits each. Brennan Boesch went two for five with a home run and two RBIs. Casper Wells went two for five with a double, a run and an RBI.
Phil Dumatrait had a solid start and he improved to 1-0. He gave up a run on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in five innings. Scot Drucker pitched four shutout innings to close out the game and he picked up his first save.
Brent Dlugach belted his first home of the season and it was a three run shot as the Hens took care of Indianapolis 6-3. Dlugach also doubled while Will Rhymes went two for four with a run and an RBI.

Scot Drucker improved to 8-3 on the season with a really nice start in the Hens 3-2 win over Indianapolis. He gave up two runs on three hits and four walks with five strikeouts in seven innings. Freddy Dolsi threw eight shutout innings and he picked up his eighth save of the season.
Mike Hessman went two for four with a double, a walk, two RBIs and a run. Don Kelly went two for five with a double, a run and two stolen bases.
The good news is, Hens pitchers gave up just three runs over fourteen innings. The bad news is, the Hens couldn’t manage a single run in a pair of losses to Buffalo. In game one, a solid start by Chris Lambert went to waste. He gave up one run on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts in six innings but he still fell to 4-7. Don Kelly and Brent Dlugach singled and that was it.
In game two, the Hens managed seven hits but still couldn’t score. Don Kelly and Max St. Pierre had two singled each in the 2-0 loss. Scot Drucker fell to 7-3 and he gave up two runs on four hits with two strikeouts in five innings.
Brent Dlugach had a monster day at the plate as the Hens dismantled the Clippers 12-4. He went three for four with a double, two home runs, three RBIs and three runs. Wilkin Ramirez belted a solo home run and he scored twice while Brent Clevlen went two for five with two runs and two RBIs.
Scot Drucker picked up the win and he improved to 6-2. He gave up four runs on seven hits and four walks with two strikeouts in six innings. Matt Rusch gave up one hit in three shutout innings and he picked up his first save of the season.
Scot Drucker improved to 4-2 on the season with a really nice start in the Hens 6-1 win over Rochester. He gave up three hits and three walks with a strikeout in six shutout frames.
Wilkin Ramirez went three for four with two RBIs and a run. Dusty Ryan went two for four with two RBIs.
