Pat Stanley improved to 5-4 on the season with a nice start in Erie’s 3-1 win over Reading. He gave up a run on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts in seven innings. Brendan Wise pitched two shutout innings of relief to close out the game and he picked up his first save of the season.
Cale Iorg had the big hit as he drove in all three runs with a home run in the fifth inning and a single. He was also the lone SeaWolf with two hits. Andy Dirks drew a walk and he scored two runs.
The SeaWolves were down by four heading into the eighth inning and while they made it a one run game, they still fell that run short in an 8-7 loss to Binghamton. Pat Stanley had a really rough start and he fell to 4-3. He gave up eight runs (seven earned) on seven hits and five walks with two strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings.
Casper Wells went three for five with a home run, two RBIs and a run. Alex Avila went two for five with a run and two RBIs.
Pat Stanley improved to 4-2 on the season with a really nice start in Erie’s 6-3 win over Akron. He gave up one unearned run on six hits with five strikeouts in seven innings. Brett Jensen struck out three in 1 1/3 shutout innings to pick up his ninth save of the season.
Casper Wells belted a two run home run in the first inning. Ryan Strieby doubled, drew a walk, drove in two and scored a run.
Pat Stanley improved to 3-2 on the season with a nice start in the SeaWolves 3-1 win over Binghamton. He gave up one run on five hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in seven innings. Brett Jensen struck out four in two shutout innings to pick up his eighth save of the season.
Santo De Leon went two for four with a double, two RBIs and a run. Danny Worth singled twice and drove in one.
Pat Stanley improved to 1-2 on the season with a really nice start in Erie’s 5-1 win over Portland. He gave up one run on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
Cale Iorg went two for four with a pair of RBIs. Deik Scram doubled, drew a walk and drove in two. Portland didn’t want anything to do with Ryan Strieby and he drew four walks.
