Oneonta won their first game of the season as Luke Putkonen held Vermont in check.  He gave up three hits and a walk with five strikeouts in five shutout innings.

Hayden Parrott was the hitting star.  He went two for four with a triple, two RBIs and three runs.  Keith Stein went two for five with a homerun and two RBIs.

Marc McBratney had three of the GCL Tigers five hits in their 7-0 loss to the GCL Indians.  He also had the only extra base hit for the Tigers with a double.

Luke Putkonen took the loss despite a decent start.  He gave up one run on two hits with five strikeouts in five innings.  Brandon Johnson gave up six runs in his three innings but all six runs were unearned because of errors.
