Oneonta couldn’t get much going at the plate as they lost to Hudson Valley 3-1. Luis Palacios was one of the lone hitters to really get things going and he went two for three with a walk and a run.
Luis Sanz took the loss and he fell to 5-4. He gave up three runs on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts in six innings.
Oneonta couldn’t get anything going at the plate as they lost to Hudson Valley 8-1. They managed just two hits and their lone run came in an inning where they didn’t even get hit. Alexis Espinoza reached o an eror, then he moved to third on an error on a pickoff attempt. He’d later score on a sac.fly by Keith Hernandez.
The pitching wasn’t much better and Luis Sanz took the loss and fell to 5-3. He gave up five runs on seven hits and three walks with three strikeouts in four innings of work.
Despite some solid pitching, Oneonta lost to Staten Island 2-1. Luis Sanz had a mixed bag start and he gave up one run on three hits and five walks with one strikeout in five innings. Cory Hamilton gave up a run in the sixth and he fell to 4-5 on the season.
Rawley Bishop went one for two with a walk and an RBI. Carmelo Jaime singled and he scored a run.
Luis Sanz kicked off the Oneonta Tigers second half with a big day on the mound. He went the distance and improved to 5-2 with a four hit shutout. He walked three and struck out nine,

Oneonta took care of Tri-City tonight 5-2 in the first game of their doubleheader and while he didn’t get the decision, Luis Sanz threw a very solid game. He gave up just one run on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts in seven innings. Kenny Faulk gave up an unearned run in two innings and he improved to 1-1.
Luis Palacios was the hitting star in the win. He went two for four with a home run, two runs and two RBIs. Keith Hernandez went two for four with a double, a run and an RBI.
Alexis Espinoza was one of the hitting stars in Oneonta’s 8-4 win over Auburn. He went three for five with a home run and three RBIs. Rawley Bishop went two for five with an RBI and two runs.
Luis Sanz picked up the win and he improved to 1-2. He gave up four runs on six hits and one walk with three strikeouts in seven innings. Wade Kapteyn pitched two shutout innings and he picked up his first save of the season.
Luis Sanz improved to 4-2 on the season with a solid start in the GCL TIgers 7-5 win over the GCL Braves. He gave up two runs on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts in six innings.
Chao-Ting Tang doubled twice and scored two runs. Luis Salas had two hits including a solo homer.
Things looked grim for the GCL Tigers when Victor Larez gave up four runs in the second inning (all were unearned), but the Tigers battled and scored six unanswered runs to win 6-4. Luis Palacios had a big day at the plate and he went four for five with a double and three RBIs while Jordan Lennerton singled and drove in a pair.
Luis Sanz improved to 3-2 with some solid work out of the pen. He gave up just one run and he struck out five in four shutout innings of relief.
