While every other team in the White Caps division was wrapping up their four game series, the White Caps finally got in their opener and pitching went out the window in the 13-12 win.  Kyle Ryan struck out six in 3 2/3 innings but he gave up seven runs in the start.  Bruce Rondon pitched a shutout ninth and he picked up the win.

There were a lot of hitting stars but leadoff hitters Dixon Machado led the way.  He went four for five with an RBI, three runs and a stolen base.  Robert Brantly and James Robbins both drove in three runs and both had two hits.
