Erie had a tough time at the plate in a 4-0 loss to Akron. Danny Worth doubled and drew a walk and the hit was one of just three that the SeaWolves picked up.
Jonathan Connolly fell to 0-4 in the loss. He gave up four runs on nine hits and one walk with five strikeouts in eight innings.
Jonathan Connolly was shelled for seven runs (five in the first two innings) on nine hits and three walks in six innings. The loss dropped his record to 0-2 on the season.
Wilkin Ramirez was the hitting star in the win. He went two for four with a double, a homerun, three RBIs and two runs.

It wasn’t Homer Bailey’s best start of the season but it was good enough as the Hens lost to Louisville 4-3. Erick Almonte actually gave the Hens the lead with a two run homer, but Jonathan Connolly gave up two runs in the bottom of the seventh that proved to be the difference in the game.
Connolly fell to 0-3 on the season. He gave up four runs (two earned) on eight hits and a strikeout in 6 2/3 innings.
The Hens lost to the Bats 10-7 despite the fact that Mike Hessman put the team on his back. He went four for five with three homers and five RBIs. Brent Clevlen also had a solid game and he went four for five with two doubles, a run and an RBI.
Jonathan Connolly took the loss and he fell to 0-2. He gave up five runs on seven hits and three walks with four strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.
The Mud Hens were only able to push one run across the plate as they lost to Lehigh Valley 4-1. Timo Perez reached base three times with two singles and a walk while Jackson Melian drove in the lone run with a solo homer.

The Seawolves kicked off their season a day late but they got it done at the plate. The game went eleven innings but five runs in the eleventh gave the SeaWolves the win. Jeff Frazier had a huge game at the plate. He went four for five with a double, a homerun, five RBIs and two runs.
Jonathan Connolly gave up three runs in six innings in his start. Juan Cedeno threw two hitless innings and he picked up the win.
Erie dropped both games of their doubleheader against Altoona the minor league regular season wound down. Of course with Erie assured of a playoff spot, these last few games aren’t as important. Game one was a 6-2 loss with Jonathan Connolly was hit hard. He gave up five runs on seven hits and three walks with seven strikeouts in five innings of work.
Matthew Joyce doubled and drove in two runs. Daniel Worth doubled and he scored once.
Clete Thomas led the Seawolves at the plate in their 7-4 win over Akron. He went two for five with a two run homer and two runs scored. Jeff Larish reached base three times with a single, a double and a walk and he also scored once.
Jeremy Johnson picked up the win in relief but it was more because he gave up the tying run in the seventh inning then saw Erie come back and win it. Jonathan Connolly had a nice start and he gave up two runs on seven hits and a walk in 5 1/3 innings.
After taking a break from the long ball yesterday, Cameron Maybin got right back at it with a three run shot in Erie’s 7-3 win over Reading. He finished the game two for four with the homerun, four RBIs and two runs. Clete Thomas also had a nice game and he went three for five with a double and two runs.

All eyes were on Cameron Maybin as he made his Double A debut today. He had just one hit but it went over the fence for his first homer for Erie and his eleventh homer overall. Jeff Larish and Clete Thomas also went yard in the 6-3 loss to the Defenders.

William Rhymes went three for five with two RBIs. Kody Kirkland went two for four with a run and an RBI in the loss.
Erie had plenty of hitting stars in their 14-7 win over Harrisburg but William Rhymes probably did the most damage. He went two for five with two doubles, four RBIs and a run. Wilkin Ramirez went three for four with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs while Jeff Larish belted his 20th homerun of the season.

The Mud Hens scored two runs in the sixth inning to make it a 4-3 deficit against Vancouver but that’s as far as they got in the loss. Jonathan Connolly took the loss and he fell to 1-1 on the season. He gave up all four runs on nine hits and a walk with one strikeout in 5 2/3 innings.
Ryan Rayburn belted homerun number 16 with a solo shot in the sixth inning. Timo Perez doubled and he drove in one of the Hens’ runs.
Things looked grim for the Mud Hens when Aquilino Lopzez gave up a go ahead run to Indianpolis in the top of the eleventh. Fortunately, The Hens rallied in the bottom half off the inning and Mike Hessman drove belted a walk off two run single after loading the bases to win it 7-6. Jack Hannahan had a great game and he went two for four with two homeruns and three RBIs while Timo Perez went three for five with a run.
Lopez picked up the win despite giving up that eleventh inning run. Jonathan Connolly had a nice start and he gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings.
Kody Kirkland was the hitting star in the Sea Wolves 8-7 win over the Fisher Cats. He went two for three with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs. Matthew Joyce made a big contribution with a three run homer.
Jonathan Connolly improved to 3-3 on the season with a decent start. He gave up four runs on seven hits and one walk with three strikeouts in seven innings.
Erie got plenty of hitting in their 8-5 win over Portland, but it was Erick Almonte who played a role in half of those eight runs. He went two or four with a double, three RBIs and a run. Jeff Larish hit a three run homer and Mike Hollimon went two for four with a double, a walk and three runs.
Jonathan Connolly was tagged for five runs and he was gone before finishing the fourth inning. Matthew Righter picked up the win with 2 1/3 innings of solid relief.
Eddie Bonine was roughed up in his start for Erie in their 8-7 loss to Binghamton. He gave up seven runs on eleven hits and one walk in just four innings. Oddly, he didn’t take the loss because Erie got the bats going. Jonathan Connolly threw four solid innings of relief and he gave up just one run but that was the deciding run so he dropped to 2-3 on the season.
Michael Hollimon was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for three with a homerun, four RBIs.
