Brandon Timm had a nice day at the plate as the Flying Tigers doubled up Vero Beach 8-4. He went three for four with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs. Santo De Leon doubled twice and drove in three.
Jonah Nickerson improved to 3-2 with a good enough start. He gave up four runs on eight hits and one walk with four strikeouts in seven innings of work.

Just about everyone was a hitting star as the Flying Tigers hitters poured it on in a 17-3 win over Sarasota but Cale Iorg and Scott Sizemore were notch above the rest. Both hitters had a pair of hits including a homer and they drove in four.

Lakeland won their second game of the season behind some solid hitting by second baseman Scott Sizemore. The final was 4-3 and Sizemore went three for three with a walk, a run and an RBI. Justin Justice went two for three and he belted a two run homer.
Jonah Nickerson gave up two runs in 4 2/3 innings in his start. Ed Clelland gave up one run in 2 2/3 innings but he picked up the win.
Since the White Caps playoff run started, they haven’t lost and they made it five straight with a 4-3 win over Beloit. The runs came on a pair of two run homers. Jeramy Laster and Scott Sizemore were the two White Caps to go yard.

The White Caps played a tough doubleheader that saw them outscored 20-7 in the two games. In the first game, they picked up six runs but the pitching gave up thirteen. Jonah Nickerson was particularly hit hard and he dropped to 3-5 on the season. He gave up ten runs on eight hits and three walks in just 1 2/3 innings. Ryan Strieby was the hitting star. He went three for four with a double, a homerun, three RBIs and two runs.
In the second game, the offense was held to just one run on five hits in a 7-1 loss. Deik Scram went two for three with a double and an RBI. Josh Rainwater took the loss and he gave up three runs in four innings.
The White Caps lost 3-2 but Gorkys Hernandez picked up two more runs in the loss. He went two for four with a double and he’s now hitting .333 on the season and he has 22 runs and 20 stolen bases in 35 games.
Jonah Nickerson took the loss in a tough start and he dropped to 3-4 on the season. He gave up three runs on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings.
James Skelton continued his terrific season with four more hits in the White Caps 12-5 win over the Loons. He doubled twice, drove in three runs and scored one and he’s now hitting .366 on the season. Ironically, the White Caps got it done against Dodgers top prospect Clayton Kershaw, who along with Andrew Miller, is considered one of the best left handed pitching prospects in baseball.
Jonah Nickerson picked up the win despite a poor outing. He gave up five runs on five hits and three walks with one strikeout in six innings and the win improved his record to 3-3.
The White Caps dismantled Kane County 9-3 and Brennan Bosch and Louis Ott led the way at the plate. Bosch singled three times and he drove in two and scored once. Ott singled twice, doubled and drove in two.
Jonah Nickerson picked up the win with five mediocre innings. He gave up three runs on three hits and three walks with five strikeouts and the win improved his record to 2-2.
