Lakeland finished their season with an 8-1 loss to Dunedin. Mark Sorensen took the loss and he fell to 1-2. He gave up five runs (four earned) on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Nolan Moody was also hit hard and he gave up three runs in 2 2/3 innings.
Devin Thomas went two for four with a triple and he scored the lone run. Jordan Cruz singled in his only at bat and he drove in the lone run.
Trevor Feeney fell to 2-6 on the season with a rough start in Lakeland’s 9-2 loss to Dunedin. He gave up five runs on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts in three innings.
Devin Thomas went two for four with a triple, a run and an RBI. Jeramy Laster went two for four.
Lauren Gagnier fell to 9-10 on the season with a rough start in Lakeland’s 6-4 loss to Daytona. He gave up four runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings of work.
Devin Thomas went two for four with two doubles, a walk, two runs and two RBIs. Jeramy Laster doubled twice and he drove in a run.
Devin Thomas had a big day at the plate as the Flying Tigers took care of Clearwater 10-7. He went two for three with a walk, a home run, four RBIs and two runs. Christoper White went two for five with a double, a home run and two RBIs.
Mark Sorensen had a rough start and as he continued his struggles since getting promoted. He gave up five runs in 4 1/3 innings. Trevor Feeney picked up the win and he improved to 2-4. He gave up a run on four hits with three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.
Matt Hoffman improved to 3-6 on the season with some solid work out of the pen in the Flying Tigers 5-3 win over St. Lucie. He gave up unearned run on one hit with a strikeout in four solid innings of relief. Brett Jacobson struck out two in a shutout ninth and he picked up his fourth save of the season.
Devin Thomas belted a two run home run in the first inning. Joseph Tucker went two for four with a double, two RBIs and a run.
Lakeland lost a tough one tonight as they took an 11-3 lead into the eighth inning and then Charlotte broke out for nine runs in the eighth inning. Six of those runs were unearned because of a pair of throwing errors in the inning. Chad Linder gave up five of those runs and Scott Green gave up four (all unearned).
Michael Bertram went four for five and he hit for the cycle. He drove in two and scored four runs. Devin Thomas went two for five with a triple, an RBI and three runs.
Chad Linder didn’t take the loss in Lakeland’s 10-6 loss to Clearwater, but definitely had the worst outing of the bunch. He gave up six runs on seven hits with one strikeout in one inning. Trevor Feeney took the loss and he fell to 0-3. He gave up two runs on four hits with three strikeouts in two innings.
Justin Henry went two for five with two RBIs. Devin Thomas went two for five with a solo home run.
Justin Henry had a big day at the plate in another Lakeland win. He finished the game three for four with a double, four RBIs and two runs. Devin Thomas went two for five with a a home run and three RBIs while Christopher White went two for five with a home run and two RBIs.
Mauricio Robles improved to 1-1 with a solid start in the 12-5 win. He gave up four runs on six hits and a walk with ten strikeouts in six innings. In all, the three Flying Tiger pitchers combined for sixteen strikeouts.
Andrew Hess had one of his best starts of the season in Lakeland’s 9-0 blowout win over Sarasota. He gave up just six hits and two walks with four strikeouts in seven shutout innings and the win pushed his record to 3-5. Jared Gayhart made his Lakeland debut and he threw two shutout frames to close out the game.
Audy Ciriaco had a huge day at the plate. He went three for five with a double, a home run and four RBIs. Devin Thomas went two for four with a walk, an RBI and two runs.
Lakeland took home both of their games in a doubleheader with the Yankees. Game one was a 2-1 win and Duane Below got it done on the mound. He gave up one run on three hits and four walks with six strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings. Ryan Strieby and Devin Thomas both belted solo homers for the Flying Tigers two runs.
Game two was a 4-2 win. Jonah Nickerson improved to 10-3 and he gave up two runs on five hits with four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. Louis Ott went two for three with two RBIs while Michael Bertram went one for two with a walk and two runs.
Oneonta took care of Jamestown 5-3 and it was Devin Thomas’ three run blast that turned out to be the difference make in the game. Cory Middleton also had a nice game with a solo homerun and two runs scored.
Mark Brackman picked up the win and he improved to 1-0 on the season. He gave up two hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 6 2/3 shutout innings.
It may have come in the fourth inning, but Devin Thomas’ two run homer provided the Tigers with the runs they’d need in their 4-3 win over Batavia. Ron Bourquin also had a nice game and he went two for three with a walk and a run.
Alfredo Figaro improved to 3-2 on the season with a nice start. He gave up three runs on six hits and one walk with six strikeouts in seven innings.
Guillermo Moscoso improved to 2-0 on the season with six shutout innings in Oneonta’s 6-2 win over Hudson Valley. He gave up just three hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.
The Tigers scored the bulk of their runs on a pair of two run homers by Christopher Carlson and Cory Middleton. Devin Thomas also had a nice game with a single, a double, a run and an RBI.
Jose Fragoso gave up two runs in the bottom of the ninth and he blew a one run Tiger lead in Oneonta’s 8-7 loss to Hudson Valley. The loss drops him to 1-2 on the season.
Ron Bourquin went three for five with two RBIS and two runs. Devin Thomas went three for five with an RBI and two runs while Christopher Carlson went four for four with a double and an RBI.
Kody Kaiser had another great game and he raised his batting average to .370 with a great day at the plate. He went two for three with two walks and he scored four times. Michael Sullivan went three for four with a triple, three RBIs and two runs while Devin Thomas went three for five with two RBIs.

Sendy Vasquez improved to 1-1 on the season with a nice start in Oneonta’s 4-2 win over Vermont. He gave up two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in six innings of work.

Oneonta won their first game 4-2 over Lowell and Kody Kaiser led the way at the plate. He went two for five with a double and he drove in two runs. Devin Thomas went two for four with a double and he drove in one.
Erik Crichton picked up the win with two shutout innings. He gave up two hits and a walk.
