Christopher White singled in the top of the sixth inning and that was the only hit of the game for the Flying Tigers in there 2-0 loss to Tampa.  The only other hitter to reach base with John Murrian with a walk.

Brayan Villareal struck out eight in four innings but he gave up two runs on six hits and he took the loss.  Tyler Conn threw 2 2/3 innings of shutout relief in his outing.

The Whitecaps made as many errors as they scored runs in a 4-2 loss to Dayton last night. Ben Guez led the way with a double, a single and an RBI while Gustavo Nunez played a part in both runs when he tripled, drove in a run and eventually scored.

A solid start by Brayan Villareal went to waste.  He gave up a run on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts in six innings.  Tyler Stohr took the loss when he gave up three runs in the top of the ninth inning.
