Jonah Nickerson improved to 12-4 on the season with a nice start in the Flying Tigers 7-1 win over Clearwater. He gave up one run on six hits and one walk with two strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. Robbie Weinhardt picked up his fourth save with 2 1/3 innings of shutout relief to close out the game.
Brandon Timm went two for four with three RBIs. Louis Ott went three for five with a double, two runs and two RBIs.
Ryan Strieby had just one hit in the Flying Tigers 11-5 win over Vero Beach but that was a two run blast. Combine that with two sac. flies and he finished the game with a team high four RBIs. Brandon Timm also had a big day and he went three for five with a triple, three RBIs and two runs.
Jonah Nickerson improved to 8-3 with the win. He gave up five runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts in six innings. Zach Simons threw three shutout innings to close out the game and he picked up his second save of the season.
Duane Below improved to 5-6 on the season with a decent start in the Flying Tigers 6-4 win over Vero Beach. He gave up three runs on five hits and six walks with ten strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
Ryan Strieby went two for four with a homerun and two RBIs. Brandon Timm went two for three with a double, a homerun and two RBIs.
Rick Porcello didn’t get the win, but he had another nice start in Lakeland’s 4-1 win over Dunedin. He gave up just one run on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. Zach Simons got the final batter out in the sixth and he got the win while Guillermo Moscoso had an impressive outing. He struck out five of the six batters he faced over two perfect innings.
Jeramy Laster and Brandon Timm both hit solo shots. Brennan Boesch went three for four with a double and a run.
Brandon Timm had a nice day at the plate as the Flying Tigers doubled up Vero Beach 8-4. He went three for four with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs. Santo De Leon doubled twice and drove in three.

Lakeland lost to Tampa 5-4 but Scott Sizemore did about all he could to help the Flying Tigers win. He was a perfect three for three with a walk and a solo homerun. Brandon Timm went two for four with a double and a run.
Duane Below gave up three runs (one earned) over four innings in his start. Brendan Wise took the loss when he gave up two runs in the bottom of the ninth.
Casey Fien gave up an unearned run in the bottom of the tenth inning as the White Caps lost to Wisconsin 5-4. It was disappointing because the White Caps had come back from as many as three down to tie the game and send it into extra frames only to lose it in extra innings.
Brandon Timm was the hitting star. He went three for five with a triple, an RBI and a run.

Angel Castro threw eight shutout innings and he picked up the win. He gave up four hits and a walk with three strikeouts and he improved to 4-3 on the season.
Gorkys Hernandez hit a two run homerun for the White Caps in their 5-4 win over the Loons. Brandon Timm went two for four with two RBIS and a run while Santo De Leon had two hits and two runs.
Lauren Gagnier picked up the win and he improved to 2-4 on the season. He gave up three runs on seven hits and three walks with two strikeouts in six innings of work.
