The GCL Tigers took care of the GCL Phillies behind yet another solid outing by Brandon Hamilton. He gave up just two hits and he struck out three in five shutout innings and the win pushed his record to 3-0 since he was demoted to the GCL.
Derek Lehrman doubled and drove in two runs in the 5-2 win. Brandon Harrigan tripled, drew a walk, drove in a run and scored two.
Just about everyone was a hitting star in the GCL Tigers 15-5 win over the GCL Phillies. Brandon Harrigan had a team high four hits in five at bats with a double, two RBIs and four runs. Wade Lamont went two for five with a double, three RBIs and two runs.
Kelvin Cedano improved to 1-0 with the start. He didn’t give up a single base runner and he struck out two in 2 2/3 innings.
The GCL Tigers didn’t get much at the plate in their 3-2 loss to GCL Indians and they were held to just three hits. Brandon Harrigan had two of those hits and he drove in one of the two Tigers’ runs.
Dario Carvajal has a tough time on the mound and he took the loss. He gave up three runs in just one inning of work. Santo Mieses had a nice outing though. He pitched four innings and he struck out four and gave up just one run.
