Casey Crosby had a mixed start today and he needed some help from the pen as the White Caps won their second straight.  Crosby went the first 3 1/3 innings and he gave up two runs on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts.  Matt Hoffman was very solid and he improved to 1-0.  He gave up just two walks with four strikeouts in 3 2/3 no-hit innings.  Tyler Stohr picked up save number two with a shutout ninth in which he struck out the side.

Billy Nowlin went two for with three RBIs in the 6-3 win.  Jordan Newton went one for three with a home run, two walks and two runs.

Oneonta blew out Lowell 14-6 and while there were plenty of hitting stars, Billy Nowlin was a notch above the rest.  He went three for four with a homerun, five RBIs and three runs.  Mike Gosse went two for four with two RBIs and three runs.

Darwin De Leon had a rough start but with all the offense, he improved to 6-3.  He gave up four runs on nine hits and one walk with seven strikeouts in five innings.
