The Tigers supplemental first round pick in 2007, Brandon Hamilton, made his minor league debut with the White Caps and he definitely showed some promise. While he walked four, he didn’t give up a single hit and he struck out six in four innings. Santo Mieses gave up three runs in two innings and he fell to 1-3 on the season.
Audy Ciriaco was the hitting star in the loss. He went three for four with a homerun and two RBIs. Cory Middleton belted a solo homer, drew a walk and scored twice.
The White Caps took care of Beloit but they needed thirteen innings to do it. Kyle Peter singled home Audy Ciriaco for the game winner and it capped off a four for six game for Peters. He finished the game with two RBIs and a run.
Rudy Darrow picked up the win with a shutout inning and he improved to 3-0. Andrew Hess kept the White Caps in it with three shutout frames in extra innings. He gave up two hits and a walk with two strikeouts.
The White Caps pulled off a sweep over South Bend and this time it was an 11-5 blowout. Christopher Carlson led the way and he went four for five with a double, a homerun, four RBIs and two runs. Ron Bourquin went three for five with two RBIs and three runs while Audy Ciriaco went three for five with a solo homerun.
Lauren Gagnier struck out seven in 3 2/3 innings his start. Paul Nardozzi gave up three unearned runs in three innings but it was good enough to pick up the win.
Gorkys Hernandez drove home Audy Ciriaco in the bottom of the ninth inning to win it for the White Caps. Earlier in the inning, Ciriaco singled home the tying run in the 5-4 win. Joseph Tucker doubled twice and drove in two runs while Santo De Leon went two for two with a double, two walks and two runs.
Phil Napolitan picked up the win with two innings of shutout relief. He gave up a hit and he struck out four.
Matt O’Brien improved to 4-2 on the season with a nice start in the White Caps 4-0 win over Cedar Rapids. He gave up just four hits and he struck out seven in the win.
Ryan Strieby belted a solo homerun in the win. Audy Ciriaco doubled, drew a walk and scored a run.
Matt O’Brien dropped to 3-1 on the season with a tough start in the White Caps 8-6 loss to the Loons. He gave up six runs on eleven hits with two strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
Audy Ciriaco had a big day at the plate. He went three for four with three doubles, two RBIs and two runs. Scott Sizemore went three for six with two doubles, a run and an RBI.
Lauren Gagnier improved to 3-7 on the season with a excellent start in the White Caps 4-1 win over the Lugnuts. He gave up one run on five hits and one walk with five strikeouts in seven innings.
Scott Sizemore went two for three with a double, two RBIs and a run. Audy Ciriaco belted a two run homer in the second inning.
Ryan Strieby hit a big two run homer in the top of the ninth and that proved to be the game winner in the White Caps 4-3 win over the Dragons. Audy Ciriaco also had a nice game and he went two for four with a double and two RBIs.
A solid start by Jeffrey Gerbe almost went to waste. He gave up just two runs on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts in seven innings. Casey Fien picked up the win with a shutout eighth.
Brenna Boesch had a big day at the plate in the White Caps 7-4 win over the Dragons. He doubled, drove in three runs and scored. Louis Ott went one for two with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs while Audy Ciriaco went two for three with a double and two runs.
Angel Castro picked up the win with five solid innings. He gave up two runs on five hits and a walk with one strikeout and the win pushed his record to 7-4.
The White Caps finally picked up a win and they did it with plenty of offense in their 9-1 win over the Dragons. Audy Ciriaco tripled, drove in three and scored a run while James Skelton doubled, walked, drove in two and scored two runs.
Jeffrey Gerbe improved to 2-0 on the season with a nice start. He gave up one unearned run on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in seven solid innings.
The White Caps won 8-3 and James Skelton had a hand in half of those runs with a big day at the plate. He went two for three with a double and four RBIs. Audy Ciraco also had a big day and he went two for five with a double, a homerun, three RBIs and three runs.
Josh Rainwater improved to 7-2 on the season with a nice start. He gave up three runs (one earned) on five hits and four walks with four strikeouts in six innings.
The White Caps entered the ninth inning tied with Quad Cities but after three ninth inning runs, they walked away with a 5-2 win. Audy Ciriaco homered and drove in three runs while Deik Scram went a perfect three for three. Gorkys Hernndez didn’t have a hit, but he walked twice and he stole two bases to bring his season total up to 17.

Duane Below picked up the win his start. He gave up three runs on three hits and two walks with six strikeouts in five innings of work.
The White Caps finally picked up their first win after three losses in a 2-1 pitchers duel with the Lug Nuts. Jonah Nickerson gave up a run in four innings and Josh Rainwater threw three no hit innings to pick up the win.
Brennan Boesch had an RBI triple and he scored a run. Audy Ciriaco was the only White Cap with two hits in the game.
