A solid start by Armando Galarraga was wasted in the Hens 2-1 loss to Syracuse. He gave up two runs on eight hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in seven innings. Dan Schlereth continued his solid season with two strikeouts in a shutout eighth inning. He now sports a 1.46 ERA and He’s struck out 13 in 11 1/3 innings. He still has to work on his control though because he has twelve walks.
Brent Dlugach went three for four with a solo home run. Will Rhymes went three for four.
Armando Galarraga improved to 2-1 on the season with another solid start in the Hens 3-1 win over Louisville. He gave up just three hits and he struck out six in seven shutout innings. Jay Sborz struck out two in a shutout ninth and he picked up his fifth save of the season.
Casper Wells pretty much was the Hens offense. He homered twice and scored three runs. Brennan Boesch also had a nice game with a pair of singles in three at-bats.
Armando Galarraga had a nice start go to waste as the Hens lost to the Bats 7-1. Galarraga took the loss and fell to 0-1 despite giving up just a run on three hits with six strikeouts in five innings. Casey Fien and Robbie Weinhardt were both hit hard were both touched up for three runs in their relief appearances.
Ryan Strieby had a big day at the plate. He went three for four with a pair of doubles and he drove in the lone run for the Hens. Danny Worth doubled in three at bats.
Toledo got that bats going tonight and they ran up the score on the Knights in a 10-3 win. Ryan Raburn went three for five with a double, a homerun and three RBIs while Erick Almonte went two for three with a double, a homer and three RBIs.

The Hens made it 2-0 tonight as they rolled over the Bulls 9-2. Jeff Larish went two for four with a three run homer, his first long ball of the spring. Brent Clevlen and Matthew Joyce both drove in two runs in the contest while Timo Perez drove in two and scored three runs.
