Andy Dirks Has Four Hits, Hens Kick Off Season With a Win

Andy Dirks was one of a few hitting stars in the Hens 11-6 blowout win over the Bats.  He went four for five with a home run, two RBIs and two runs.  Timo Perez had a team high three RBIs with three hits and Danny Worth doubled three times.

Andy Oliver threw five shutout innings until he gave up a pair of runs in the sixth.  He gave up four hits, walked two and struck out six.  Alberto Alburquerque threw a shutout ninth to close out the game.
