Brooks Brown didn’t get the win in this one, but he did about all he could to make sure the SeaWolves did walk away with a victory.  He gave up just four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in five shutout innings while Ramon Garcia got the victory despite giving up the lone Curve run.  Cody Satterwhite closed the game out and he gave up a hit and a walk but he struck out two in the ninth to pick up his first save of the season.

Ryan Strieby was in the middle of both Erie runs in the 2-1 win. He singled, doubled, drove in a run and scored.  Scott Sizemore was the only other Erie hitter to have two hits.

The win puts Erie at an impressive 4-0.  They’ll get a day off tomorrow before Bowie heads to town.
