Alfredo Figaro Throws Seven No-Hit Innings In Erie Win

Erie pitcher’s yielded just one hit in their 3-0 win over Altoona.  Alfredo Figaro got things going with seven shutout frames without giving up a hit before yielding to the pen.  Zach Simons kept things going with a no-hit eighth but then Brett Jensen gave up a two hit double in the ninth to spoil the no-hitter.  Figaro struck out five and walked three to improve to 1-0 while Jensen picked up his third save of the season.

Scott Sizemore provided the bulk of the SeaWolves offense in the win.  He went four for four with two doubles, a walk, two runs and an RBI.  Santo De Leon singled twice and scored a run.
